And yet another year has begun. I hope it is a happy and prosperous one for all.

The first term ended well and I am now into the last week of my Christmas break at home in Italy. After nearly three weeks off I am starting to prepare for my return to London and the start of the Spring term.

Lynn Seymour Award 2014

Just before the holidays the 2nd Year students took part in the Lynn Seymour Award for Expressive Dance, an internal competition held annually at the school. We each performed a solo of our choice, which choreographically had to focus more on artistic quality rather than technique. I danced Manon Lescaut’s solo from John Neumeier’s Lady of the Camellias.

I am looking forward to the year ahead and seeing what it has in store for me.
