Greetings from Australia

I am writing from Queensland, the ‘Sunshine State’. My mum and I are staying at my granddad’s house and have been enjoying the beautiful sights, the fine seafood and some quality friend & family get-togethers. I haven’t been down under for almost ten years and I now appreciate the differences of lifestyle between here and home. Climate, wildlife, beaches, shops and traffic are just some of the things which I find myself comparing.

We have five more days to go before we head back and are making the most of our time here. My granddad has kindly given me one of his high quality digital cameras and it is being put to good use as I document this unforgettable trip.

I hope you like my two favourite photos which I have taken on it.

  1. Lovely pictures – sorry you only have such a short time remaining down under. Say Hi to your granddad from Jean and I.

  2. Enjoy your time in Australia! Wonderful pictures…
Are you going to attend a ballet summer intensive this year?
