The Art of Ballet

BarbaraDrawingArtistic talent comes in many different forms – music, dance, drama and of course, art itself. It could perhaps be defined as ‘someone who is expressive’. Previously I posted about ‘My Artist Aunt’. Through my dance friends back in Italy I have come to admire Prisca_Bertoni_08_12-45the work of Barbara, an Italian artist who draws inspiration from the world of ballet. She creates stylistic drawings with detailed costume work.

This week I was happy to discover that Barbara has created a drawing featuring  the lilac tutu that appears in my image gallery photos taken by Martin Bell. If you would like to see more of her work follow this iPhoneogram link.

Thank you Barbara, you have given me something to treasure. I wish you all the best for a bright future, hopefully using your amazing talent as an artist.  Prisca
