Decisive Half Term

Arrived back in London yesterday afternoon. Luckily I was on one of the last flights out of Bologna before the airport was closed due to snow. Unluckily I was on the Airbus 320 with the jammed luggage hold door, causing a one hour delay before my suitcase arrived on the carousel. Normally I like Heathrow T5, but the Baggage Hall has little of interest to offer.

Unpacked from Italy, repacked for school, homework finished and pointe shoes sewn (thanks for some help with those mum). Mentally prepared myself for the coming weeks.

This afternoon I will fit in some practice for our Tuesday Solos Evening, before supper and our Spring Term party. Year 11 get to choose the theme so we went down the light-hearted route with students to come in a onesie [one-zie].  For those of you from outside of the UK, a onesie is like an oversize babygrow – sometimes taking the form of an animal. They are all the rage at the moment, with many of us wearing them in the dormitory in the evenings for comfort.

Can’t believe that by the time I return home to Italy for Easter, I will know what the next three years will have in store for me.

Here we go…

  1. I haven’t been to my adult ballet class in over a month now, due to work. Reading your blog makes me long for class. 😦
